Cockatiels are amazing little creatures! Not only do they have these lovely crests that make them, in my opinion at least, cooler than the other parrots but they're really smart too. And they're exciting to draw!! So thats exactly what I've been drawing the other day as you can from these sketches

 

The sketches had to lead to a fully colored picture so here's the final illustration

Isn't it great sometimes to be able to just sit (not necessarily on a tree) drink your coffee, eat a bit of cake and read an interesting book? Well the cockatiel in the pic certainly thinks it is :)

It's no big secret I absolutely love flowers! Especially sunflowers, somehow I'm convinced that they symbolize hope. So whenever I feel that I need something to cheer me up I tend to draw flowers. And thats exactly what happened the other day when I was bit depressed: I painted this sunflower-ish bouquet and it instantly made me smile.
Decided to add a piano ribbon to it since the piano is one of my most favorite things in the world. Now that I think about it maybe next time I should draw something that has more to do with a piano than just a ribbon. Hmmm gotta think seriously about that....Talk to you later ;)

This is the first clown I've ever drawn (must have been two years ago now that I think about it) so I had to post it here.

Just finished drawing this and I'm  thinking of making it the blog's banner. 

Just a little today for today. And you know what? It is true, I absolutely love fresh starts and new beginnings.

When I finished drawing this a few days ago, it gave me the refreshing sense of a new beginning and it somehow inspired me to start a new blog. So here's the new blog named after the crazy clown ;)
